Albert A. Melly, 86 years, of Allentown, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Whitehall Manor. He was the widower of Dorothy H. (Mohoney) Melly. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Aloise and Helen (Lee) Melly.

Albert was Vice President and Treasurer of the former Bell Telephone Co. in Pennsylvania. He was a member and volunteer of many organizations over the years. Albert was past president and treasurer and sat on the committee of Pennfield East where he resided. He was an amazing baker and handyman. Albert also enjoyed playing the organ and accordion, along with gardening and creating great Christmas displays. A good cigar was always in hand while working late nights around the house or enjoying his hobbies.

Survivors: Albert is survived by his step-son, William "Mike" Goebig of Kutztown and his partner Dwayne Knowles. He was predeceased by a sister Helen Loasby.
