Alfred F. Bauer, 75 years, of Catasauqua, passed away Monday, January 07, 2013 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus. He was the widower of Sarah J. (Reish) Bauer. Born in Ormrod, he was a son of the late Aloise J. and Marie (Summers) Bauer.

He was a driver for Mail-Mathews Trucking in Glasgow for 9 years retiring in 2002. Alfred also drove truck for Yencho Trucking in Cunningham, PA and was a mechanic for Loomis Armored Cars. He was a member of St. Mary's Church of the Annunciation B.V.M. Alfred was a race car driver at Dorney Park for many years.

Survivors: Son, Jeffrey Bauer with whom he resided, step daughters; Kim T. Roth of Allentown, Faith A. Brown of Waynesboro, Marci J. Reinert of New Tripoli, sisters, Amilia Kokolus of Ballietsville, and Hilda Blose of Egypt, three grandchildren, three step grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Dale and sister Teresa Stumpf.

Graveside Service: 1:30 PM on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Fogelsville Union Cemetery. Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.
