Arlene B. Kuhns, 94 years, of New Tripoli, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Reston Hospital in Reston, VA.  She was the widow of the late Woodrow J. Kuhns, Sr.  Born in Lehigh County she was a daughter of the late John R. and Mattie (Nester) Gruber.

Arlene was a member of Ziegels Lutheran Church in Breinigsville where she was a former Church Treasurer and member of the Consistory.  She was an avid reader of mystery novels, solved a crossword puzzle every day, and was a lifelong friend of all animals, both big and small.  Arlene was a loving grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family.

Survivors: Sons, Richard W. Kuhns of New Tripoli and Woodrow J. Kuhns, Jr and his wife Sharon L. of Herndon, VA, grandchildren, Lauren E. and Michael T. Kuhns.  She was predeceased by sisters, Laura Druckenmiller, Annie Motko, and Helen Bowers.
