Asher D. Herman, 93 years, formerly of New Tripoli, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at Cornerstone Living in New Tripoli. He was the widower of Doris M. (Kriner) Herman. Born in Fogelsville, he was a son of the late Charles A. and Irene M. (Dries) Herman. Asher was a foreman with the former Schantz Orchard, now Jaindl Farms in Orefield for 50 years. He served as Past President of Fruit Growers Assoc. of the Lehigh Valley.

Survivors: Daughter, Cindy Hughes (James) of New Tripoli and granddaughter, Kaitlyn A. Hughes of Philadelphia. He was preceded in death by four half-brothers: John Herman, Donald Herman, Earl Herman and Junior Dries; and a half-sister, Mildred Betz.

Services: Will be private at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be 10-11 AM Saturday, February 6 at the Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville. State guidelines will be followed limiting the number of people allowed inside the building. Face masks will be required, and social distancing will occur.
