Barbara Kitson, age 94, of Macungie, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She was the wife of the late Frederick Kitson for 41 years prior to his passing in 2017. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Emma (Cunfer) Grim. Born and raised in Cetronia, she was a graduate of South Whitehall High School Class of 1948. Through the years she was employed as a bookkeeper for several companies. Prior to their retirement she assisted in her husband's consulting business, F.K. Kitson Safety Associates. She was a member of St. Paul U.C.C., Trexlertown.
Survivors: She is survived by sons, Donald Fritzinger and wife Amy of Breinigsville, James Fritzinger and wife Anne of Waynesboro, and Richard Fritzinger and wife Sandra of New Tripoli; two grandsons Michael Fritzinger and wife Suzie, Mark Fritzinger and wife Dana; both of Orefield, four great-grandchildren, Frank, Maggie, Samuel and Lucy. She is also survived by four step-children, Lee Kitson and wife Dawn, of New Tripoli, Margaret "Peg" Knowles of Winter Garden, FL, Susan Haas and husband Timothy of Kutztown and Gail Kitson of Allentown; ten step-grandchildren, 15 step-great grandchildren, 2 step great great grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. This large family was never failing in love and support. She was predeceased by brothers, Robert Grim (Shirley) and William Grim (Lorraine) and by her sons' father, Sterling Fritzinger.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul's U.C.C. Church on Thursday, March 27, at 11:00 am. Visitations will be held on Wednesday, March 26, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville and on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the Church. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to St. Paul's U.C.C., in care of the Funeral Home, P.O. Box 52, Fogelsville, 18051.
