Barbara M. Kurtz, 71 years, of Allentown, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was the wife of George A. Kurtz for 49 years. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Susan M. (Kuchera) Molchany.

She was a scanning coordinator at Wegman's in Easton for 15 years. Barbara was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church in Orefield. She was an avid reader, enjoyed water aerobics and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors : Husband, daughters; Alicia wife of Andrew Shoup of Gilbert, AZ, Susan wife of Michael Jordan of Bismarck, IL, and Monica wife of Erik Steffy of Fairfax, VA, brother, Jack Molchany of Menomonee Falls, WI, sister, Leona Keppel of Coplay, grandchildren; Rebecca, Nicholas, Luke, Alyssa, Noah, Anthony, and Charlie, nieces and nephews.

Services : Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 24 at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1879 Applewood Rd., Orefield. Visitation will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M in the Church.
