Bernard P. Spahitz, 83 years, of Tavares, FL, formerly of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 in Altamonte Springs, FL. He was the loving companion of Jacqueline McDaniel for 25 years. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Frank R. and Mary (Feiertag) Spahitz.

He worked for Bell Telephone for many years before retiring. Bernard honorably and faithfully served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

Survivors: Companion, Jacqueline McDaniel of Fern Park, FL, sons; Rob of San Diego and Michael of Pahrump, NV, daughter, Ann Mackey of Clifton, NJ, 3 grandchildren.

Graveside Service: 11:30 A.M., Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, at Fullerton Ave. and Mundy Ln., in Whitehall, behind Sacred Heart Cemetery. Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.
