Beth A. Haas, 60 years, of Orefield, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp.  She was the wife of Donald R. Haas for 40 years this past April.  Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Holzworth) Schmehl, Sr.

Beth and her husband Donald own and operate Haas Produce, located at the PA turnpike farm market for over 28 years. She thoroughly enjoyed gardening and running the farm market.

Of all her roles in life, she cherished being a grandmother the most. She was passionate about her grandchildren and being around them as much as possible, including spending time playing board games, cards and crafting with them.

Survivors: husband, Donald, daughters, Kelly Smith (Jason) of Littlestown, Jaime Chandik (Matthieu) of Folsom, and Michelle Haas of Orefield; brothers, James Schmehl, Jr. of Emmaus and Kurt Schmehl of Allentown; grandchildren, Leah, Caleb, Blake, and McKenzie, nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Schmehl.

Services: A visitation will take place on Friday, July 8 ^th , from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville.  Funeral service to follow at 7:30 PM.  Online expressions of sympathy and condolences may be offered at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com .
