Betty J. Evans, 76 years, of Kempton, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at home. She was the wife of Thomas J. Evans for 56 years this past January. Born in Wescosville, she was a daughter of the late Howard E.and Alma S. (Gresley) Hausman.
She worked in the Parkland School District at Fogelsville Elementary School as a Cafeteria worker for 17 years. After that Betty worked for Vanguard Plastics in Upper Macungie as a silk screener for 10 years. She was a member of Ziegels Lutheran Church in Breinigsville and a member of the Fogelsville Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.

Husband, daughters; Susan wife of Scott Daniels of Allentown, Debra wife of Milton Smith of Lehighton, and Diane wife of Mike Von Steuben of Whitehall, brothers; Herbert Hausman and wife Elva of Chesterfield, MO, Kenneth Hausman and wife Joan of Allentown, and Ray Hausman and wife Gloria of Breinigsville, sister, Jean Daughton of Coalport, PA, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

: 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 11 at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville with the Rev. Andrew Meckstroth officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M.
