Betty A. Rockel, 92 years, formerly of Coopersburg and Fogelsville, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Bethlehem North Nursing Center.  She and her late husband, Henry W. Rockel were married for 65 years before his passing in 2016.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Lillian (Dorney) Hunsicker.

She worked for the family's business, the former Harry W. Rockel Garage, for many years. Betty was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, in Fogelsville, where she sang on the choir and taught bible school.  She was a member of the Fogelsville Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed doing ceramics, playing cards and word search puzzles, and especially loved spending time with family and friends.

Survivors:  Daughter, Debra A. wife of James Hoffman of Northampton and son, William H. Rockel and wife Mary of Orlando, Florida; grandchildren, Steven, Emily, Kelly, Caitlyn and Alan; 2 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by brothers, Lewis Hunsicker, Jr., and Albert Hunsicker.

Services:   A visitation will take place on Thursday, November 30 from 10 to 11 AM at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville. The Memorial Service will start at 11 AM followed by interment at Fogelsville Union Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com.
