Carol G. Hoppes, 82 years, of Fogelsville, passed away at her home on Thursday, October 11, 2018. She was the loving wife of Jackie H. Hoppes. Born in Coney Island, NY, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Esther (Schoffler) Zoch. Carol was a Nurses Aide for Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Allentown for 23 years before retiring. She was an avid Bingo player who had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved bird Cody and many cats.

Survivors: husband, Jackie; children: Kathy Brown, husband David of Mechanicsburg; Linda George, companion Keith Jones and Thomas Wetzel, companion Laura Moyer, all of Macungie; step-children: Valerie Sosa, husband Angel and Jennifer Hoppes, all of Allentown; Shawn Hoppes, wife Pamela and Lonnie Hoppes, all of Macungie; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings: Russell Zoch of VA, Ruth Swank, husband Barry of Slatington, Marion Klingman, husband Donald of Quakertown, Linda White of Slatington and Doris Dreher of CA; numerous nieces and nephews.
