Catherine A. Burns, 76 years, of New Tripoli, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at home.  She was the wife of Frank T. Burns, Sr. for 57 years last September.  Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late George and Frances (Lyons) Cunningham.

Catherine worked for an Insurance Agent for a few years after school until meeting Frank.  Frank and Catherine married shortly thereafter and proceeded to start their family in Philadelphia.  As a dedicated mother and wife, Catherine brought their three sons to Allentown with Frank to pursue their dreams together.  In Allentown they added to their family a beautiful daughter.  This adventure took them other places as well including upstate New York but eventually they found their way home again to Allentown where by this time their own children were marrying and having families.  Catherine loved her time with her children and grandchildren.  Her family and friends meant everything to her.

Survivors: husband, Frank, sons; Frank T., Jr. and wife Tracy of Coopersburg, Kenneth M. and wife Ramzy of New Tripoli, Steven D. and wife Stacy of Schnecksville, daughter Catherine A. and partner Charles Williams of Barryville, NY, brother, George Cunningham of Philadelphia, and sister, Rosemarie wife of Girard Masino of Philadelphia, grandchildren; Megan, Ryan Margaret, Ramzy Taylor, Madison, Nicole, Connor, and Tyler Burns, nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a brother, James Cunningham and a sister Dolores Trautz.

Services : 6 P.M., Friday, March 20 at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville.  Visitation will be from 4 to 6 P.M. Private Interment. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com.
