Christine R. Karom, 83 years, of Orefield, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Albert Karom for 62 years last November. Born in Lynn Township, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Evelyn (Heintzelman) Werley.

She was employed at Day-Timers as a machine operator retiring in 1992. She was also a farmer from 1958 until present. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Mertztown.

Survivors : husband, Albert, daughter Valerie Johnston and fiancé Michael Scherff, Sr. of Fleetwood, grandchildren Anthony, Baron and Brooklyn.

Services: 11 A.M. on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church Street, Fogelsville. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Interment will be at Ziegels Union Cemetery in Breinigsville. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com
