Clement M. Balon, 82 years, of Allentown, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at home. He and his wife Barbara (Wishneski) Balon would have been married for 59 years next month. Born in Marion Heights, PA he was the son of Frank and Jean (Surak) Balon.
He was the Chief X-Ray technician at the former Allentown Osteopathic Hospital for 20 years and was a private I-V Therapist for a private clinic for 15 years. Clement honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 231 and V.F.W. Post 8354 in Kulpmont, PA. Clement loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church in Orefield.

Wife, Barbara, son, Michael P. and wife Linda of San Diego, CA; daughters, Lorriane A. Balon and husband Robert Donaldson of Hershey, PA and Helen J. Shimandle and husband Frank of Carlisle, PA; sister, Adrienne Dorsie of Houston, TX; 7 grandchildren.
Services:
Memorial Mass, 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, January 24 at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1879 Applewood Rd., Orefield, with the Rev. Msgr. Robert J. Wargo as Celebrant. Visitation will take place from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M in the Church. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.
