Obituary

Cole David Hausman, of Fogelsville, passed away on August 24, at the age of 18. Born on November 17, 2006, Cole was the beloved son of David and Kasey Hausman.

A graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, Class of 2025, Cole was known for his brilliant mind, warm spirit, and soft spoken kindness. Cole was set to begin a new chapter this fall as a freshman at Kutztown University.

Cole's life, though brief, was full. In his early youth he was an active participant in NYAA sports and enjoyed the relationships he developed with his teammates and the strong community. He developed a passion for golf, playing on the high school team as a freshman and sophomore, and enjoyed playing whenever he could with his friends, father, and grandfather. Cole was well traveled, visiting many beautiful beaches and spending time skiing all over the US with his family. He was a tinkerer with an intense love for computers and gaming. He could solve a Rubik's cube in mere seconds and loved building computers for family and friends, having first built his own at a very young age. He enjoyed art, street fashion, sneakers, cars, and music - particularly music with deep bass -you could always hear Cole coming from a mile away.

Cole was extremely loyal to his friends and family. He loved his brother and sisters dearly, often joking and rough housing with them.

He is survived by his parents, David and Kasey, as well as his siblings, Reese, Mack and Brynn Hausman; his grandmother Elizabeth Hausman; his grandparents Stacy B. Cartledge, Jr. and Jennifer Cartledge; as well as beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. Cole was preceded in death by his grandmother Ronda Cartledge and his grandfather John Hausman.
