Dale F. Bower, 81 years, of New Tripoli, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017.  He was the widower of Rita M. Gmoser.  Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Elwen and Catherine (Beauchner) Bower.

He was a road adjuster for Allstate Insurance for 29 years retiring in 1994 and worked for various body shops in Allentown for 15 years. Dale was an active member of St. Paul's Church in Seiberlingsville where he was on the consistory for many years and past Secretary of the Cemetery Board.  He loved woodworking and gardening.

Survivors: son, Steve E. and wife Pat of New Tripoli, daughters, Donna L. wife of Carl Kistler of Kempton, Carol A. wife of Joe O'Connor of New Tripoli, Melissa M. wife of David Levan of Schnecksville, and Dana D. wife of Richard Snyder of Kutztown; brother, Charles of New Tripoli, grandchildren, Steve, Jr., Joshua, Daryl, Jonathan, Jamie, Mitchell, and Dylan; great grandchildren, Nicolaus, Zachary, and one expected in May; nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother Elwen Bower, Jr.
