Daniel "Danny" William O'Donnell, 65 years, of Macungie, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 4, 2014 after a valiant 4 year battle with cancer.  He was the husband of Judy (Cowher) O'Donnell for 40 years.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of Rita (Girardi) O'Donnell of Macungie and the late Wilbert (Bill) O'Donnell.  A graduate of Dieruff High School, he was the 1967 Senior Athlete of the year, co-captain of the basketball team and competed in track and cross-country.  Danny honorably served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam.  He started to work for the former Schaefer Brewing Co., now the Samuel Adams Brewery, in Fogelsville in 1970, retiring in 2010.

Survivors: Wife, Judy, daughter, Jamie and mother Rita O'Donnell, sister Sheri (Buss), wife of Tip O'Neill of Bryn Mawr, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and close friends.

Services: 11 AM Saturday, April 12, at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. MaryAnn Hamm officiating.  Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM.  Interment, Resurrection Cemetery.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com
