Dawn A. Straughn, 62 years, of Allentown, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Inpatient Hospice Unit in Allentown.  She was the widow of Michael W. Straughn.  Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late H. Edward and Jeanette (Kleppinger) Taylor.  She was a paralegal for the Law Offices of Steckel and Stopp and was the Secretary and Treasurer for Lynn Township for 15 years. Dawn loved animals and enjoyed volunteering at The Sanctuary at Haafsville.

Survivors: Daughter, Jeanette Straughn (Redden), son, Michael W. Straughn, II, brother, H. Edward Taylor, sister, Debra Doto, grandchildren, Cory, Ethan, and Owen Redden, and Benton Straughn, nieces and nephews.
