Obituary

Dennis E. Heintzelman, 68 years, of New Tripoli, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Lucille A. (Reinert) Heintzelman for 44 years this past April.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of Jean A. (Kressley) Heintzelman of New Tripoli and the late Earl W. Heintzelman.

Dennis graduated from Northwestern Lehigh High School and Rider College.  For most of his life, he worked on his family's farm; he began managing the farm in the early 1990s.  Previously, he was an accountant for the Pennsylvania Farmers Association and an IRS Enrolled Agent. In his early adult life, he was a Payroll Manager for Allentown Manufacturing. Dennis was a member of the Lehigh-Kress Hunting Club and the Weisenberg/Lowhill Township Historical Society.  He was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church in New Tripoli.  Dennis loved his family, especially his grandchildren.  He thoroughly enjoyed farming and hunting.

Survivors: Wife, Lucille; sons, Brian D. and wife Jewel of New Tripoli and Dan A. and wife Jaime of Allentown; mother, Jean; brother, Dale L. and wife Beverly of Slidell, LA; grandchildren, Jaxson, Adalyn and Kensington; brothers-in-law, Donald W. Reinert and wife Carol, and Sterling D. Reinert and wife Doreen; nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brother-in-law Reynold G. Reinert and wife Grace.

Services: 11:00 AM, Friday, July 27 at Weisenberg Lutheran Church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Rd., New Tripoli, with the Rev. Raymond J. Hand officiating.  There will be a calling hour from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the Service.  Visitation will be on Thursday, July 26 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St. Fogelsville.  Interment, Weisenberg Lutheran Church Cemetery.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com .
