Dora (Verzino) Butz, 90 years, of Emmaus, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at home.  She was the wife of Donald Butz to whom she was married for 70 years.  Dora was born in Allentown, the daughter of Celeste and Ida (Micco) Verzino, and was pre-deceased by her brother Anthony.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church all her life.  She was a graduate of Allentown High School, class of 1951.  From there she was employed by PP&L and later by Ohio Casualty Insurance Co for 25 years.  After retiring, she worked for Dr. Mark Shampain as a transcriptionist.

Survivors husband, Donald, daughters, Donna Butz and Carol Hartz; grandchildren, Kristie (Michael), Kory and Keri; great grandchildren, Charlotte, Jack, Emma and William Frazier.
