Doris M. Herman, 87 years, of New Tripoli, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital in Allentown. She was the wife of Asher D. Herman for 62 years last September 26th. Born in Steinsburg, she was a daughter of the late John C. and Aletha (Guild) Kriner, Jr.
She was a seamstress for Penn State Mills for many years. Doris later worked in the cafeteria for the Parkland School District retiring in 1992. She loved taking care of her family and enjoyed spending time with them. They feel blessed to have had her in their lives for so many years and will miss her dearly.
Survivors:
Husband, daughter, Cynthia L. wife of James Hughes, Jr. of New Tripoli, brother, Robert Kriner and wife LaRue of Allentown, granddaughter, Kaitlyn A., nieces and nephews, and grandpets, Hailey and Stanley. She was predeceased by a brother, John C. Kriner, III and a sister, Betty Meyers.
Services:
11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 21 at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc. 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Sally D. Zelker officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
