Douglas "Duke" Daniels, 84 years, of Kempton, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp.  He was the husband of Ellen M. (Perry) Daniels for 35 years this past July.  Born in Newark, NJ he was the son of the late Marvin L. and Alice (Dorsey) Daniels.

Duke honorably served in the United States Navy.  He went on to be a Police Sergeant for 30 years for Piscataway Township, NJ, where he received the metal of honor for his heroic actions during the Plainfield Riots.

Survivors: wife, Ellen, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and wonderful in-laws.

Services: A visitation will take place on Saturday, December 26, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville. Private Family Service.  Please note that state guidelines will be followed limiting the number of people allowed inside the building at the same time.  Face masks will be required, and social distancing will occur.
