Earl L. "Jay" Kichline, Jr. of New Tripoli, went home to be with his Lord Jesus on Monday, November 13, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his loving wife Pearl (Mosser) Kichline, whom he was married to for 33 years this past June, and their daughter Serena.  Earl was born in Northampton to the late Earl and June (Kates) Kichline on August 17, 1956.  He attended Faith Evangelical Free Church.

The highlight of his and Pearl's life was going to China to bring home their daughter.  Earl was a graduate of William Allen High School.  He worked for PennDot for 25 years and previously was employed in carpentry and homebuilding construction.  After retirement, he enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, making furniture in his woodshop and taking care of the farm buildings on their farm.  Earl had fond memories of going on day trips with Pearl and Serena and enjoyed photography, bird watching and gardening.

Besides his wife and daughter, Earl is also survived by his siblings, Cleo and her husband John Demidont, Karl, Adam and his wife Karen, and nephews and nieces.

Service:  A visitation will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, on Friday, November 17, at Ebenezer U.C.C., 7293 Decatur St., New Tripoli. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.
