Earl T. Schrammel, 89 years, of Kempton, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp.  He was the widower of Joyce (Kilpatrick) Schrammel.  Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Robert and Lillian (Stetz) Schrammel. He was a lineman for PP&L for 27 years and a member of Ziegels Lutheran Church in Breinigsville.  Earl was also a member of the Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club and a life member of the NRA. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy.

In addition to his love of family, Earl enjoyed gardening and raised competition-level beagles for many years.  He also enjoyed listening to music from the Big Band Era – Glenn Miller, Les Brown and Tommy Dorsey were among his favorites.

Survivors: Children, Diane Niedermeyer of Walnutport, Linda Schrammel of Weisenberg Twp, Kurt Schrammel (Peggy) of Crested Butte, CO, and Eric Schrammel of Morton, PA; sister, Susan Sunderland of Allentown, grandchildren, Chloe, Zachary and Jacob.  He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Schrammel, Jr.
