Edith I. Walters, 92 years, of Allentown, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She was the widow of Henry Walters. Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Amanda (Homm) Hunsicker. Edith was a sewing machine operator in the Lehigh Valley for over 30 years. She volunteered for the Woodlawn Fire Co. and the Cedarbrook T.R. Dept. often. Edith was a member of Jordan Lutheran Church in Orefield.

Survivors : daughters, Debra Lilly and husband Shawn of Lehighton and Pam Schneck and husband Terry of Slatington, sisters, Arlene Reed of Andreas and Connie Correll of Allentown, grandchildren, Tammy Mathisen, Amanda Gostonyi, Joshua Smith, Kyle Schneck, and Caleb Lilly, great grandchildren, Benjamin, Amanda, Ava, Evan, Taven, and Madelynn, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by many brothers and sisters.

Services: 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 26, at Jordan Lutheran Church, 5103 Snowdrift Rd., Orefield.  Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the Church.  Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com .
