Edward F. Tapper, 86 years, formerly of New Tripoli, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at Legend of Allentown.  He and his wife, Juanita, who passed in 2017, would have been married for 64 years next month.  Born in Passaic, NJ he was a son of the late Richard and Evelyn (Kornhoff) Tapper.

He was an airline Captain for the former Pan Am Airways for many years, traveling all over the world, and then retired from United Airlines in 1995. Ed honorably served as a Captain in the United States Airforce for 10 years.  He was an avid boater and loved fishing.  Ed and his wife wintered for over 30 years in Key West, FL and loved traveling all over in their RV.

Survivors: Son, Eugene E. and wife Micki of New Tripoli, daughter, Diana J. Karlson and husband David of Allentown, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a son, Evan F., a brother, Richard, and a sister, Joyce Vitale.

Services : 11:00 AM, on Saturday, April 23 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church Street, Fogelsville.  Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment, Lowhill Church Cemetery in New Tripoli.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com.
