Edward C. Werley, 80 years, of Alburtis, formerly of New Tripoli, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit, in Allentown.  He was the widow of Anna E. (Mack) Werley.  Born in Weisenberg Twp. he was a son of the late Curtis E. and Bernice (Rose) Werley.

He was a farmer all of his life in Weisenberg Twp.    Ed was a loving man. He loved people, especially his family and friends and showed it through his adventuress spirit. He loved traveling particularly on his trike. Ed loved to visit with people and was especially supportive of his families and their successes in life. He was always encouraging to all who came in contact with him.

Survivors: daughters, Lisa wife of Rich Moyer of Jacksonville, NC, Nona wife of Peter Hubbard of Candia, NH, and Dana wife of Jud Edwards of Melbourne, FL; step daughters, Beverly wife of Gary Snyder of Orefield, Cynthia Scholl of Allentown; step sons, Brian Madtes and wife Jennifer of San Antonio, TX, Dennis Madtes of Alexandria, VA, Lamar Madtes and wife Faye, and Sidney Madtes both of New Tripoli; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 17 step grandchildren, 20 step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services: 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 21 at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville with the Rev. Raymond J. Hand officiating.  Visitation will be on Monday, February 20 from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. at the Funeral Home.  Interment, Weisenberg Lutheran Church Cemetery in New Tripoli.  Online condolences may be offered at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com
