Edwin R. Snyder, Sr, 81 years, of Macungie, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the husband of Shirley A. (Erb) Snyder for 58 years this past April. Born in Lehigh County, he was a son of the late Eldred and Hulda (Gangaway) Snyder, Sr.

Ed was a truck driver and laborer in Weisenberg Twp. for 15 years. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Trexlertown. Ed honorably served his country in the United States Army Air Force during the Korean War.

Survivors: wife, Shirley, sons, Donald J. and wife Tonya of Pittsburgh; Edwin, Jr. and wife Cindy of New Tripoli, daughter, Brenda L. wife of David Sadrovitz of Macungie, step-son, Karl Greiss and companion Wendy of Hagerstown, MD, step-daughter, Mary Lou LeVan of Birdsboro, brothers, Eldred Jr., of Fleetwood and Larry, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services : 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 27, at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Al Bastin officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M.
