Elizabeth M. "Betty" Heilman, 94 years, of Allentown, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit in Allentown. She was the widow of Homer S. Heilman, who passed away this past March. Born in Deer Lake, PA, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Martha Gerhard.

She volunteered at Lehigh Valley Hospital for 40 years. Betty was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Fogelsville.

Survivors: daughters; Barbara E. wife of Enrico Gava of Allentown, Kathryn M. wife of Stanley Stauffer of Macungie, and Jane A. wife of Bernard Corriveau of Allentown, 5 grandchildren; Andrea, Susan, Elizabeth, and Timothy, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Deborah and a brother Frank "Jim" Gerhard.

Memorial Service : 2:30 P.M., Monday, November 28, at St. John's U.C.C., 1027 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Irvin Moore officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 P.M.
