Elizabeth A. Freas, 88 years, of Orefield, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Fellowship Manor in Whitehall. She was the widow of Charles M. Freas. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Mabel (Kriner) Sherer.

Elizabeth graduated from Moravian College in Bethlehem. She was a school teacher for 23 years in the Parkland School District at Fogelsville Elementary School. Elizabeth was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ in Allentown.

Survivors : sons, Thomas C. of Orefield, David A. and wife Debra of Wescosville, and Roderick P. of Whitehall; daughter, Linda A. Wisser and husband Richard of Orefield. 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Sherer.
