Obituary

Elizabeth Ann (Wirth) Kleibscheidel, 30 years, of South Whitehall Township, died February 5, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Mark A. Kleibscheidel for 8 years last November. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of John A. and Beata (Schaffer) Wirth of Whitehall.

Beth was a Registered Nurse and Certified Emergency Nurse at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, 17 th and Chew, in Allentown. She was a wonderful mother, a dedicated community volunteer and an inspiration for her family and friends.  Beth was a Major in the Civil Air Patrol, an auxiliary of the United States Air Force. She earned Expert Ranger Black Belt #208 and Master Medic Red Belt #22. She developed and instructed the medical program for Hawk Mountain Ranger School, a national encampment of the Civil Air Patrol that teaches search and rescue. Beth was a Pre-Hospital Registered Nurse for Cetronia Ambulance Corps., was a firefighter with Greenawalds Fire Co., and was also an assistant troop leader of Daisy Troop #654 of the Girl Scouts of America. She earned an Associate's degree in Nursing from Lehigh County Community College and earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing from American Military University.

Survivors: husband, parents, children, Theresa Kathryn, Jonathan Everett and Jameson Elliot, brother, Daniel J. Wirth of Florida, maternal grandparents, Ralph E. and Kathryn C. Lounsbury of New Tripoli, paternal grandparents, George A. and Marguerite E. Wirth of Whitehall, uncles, Paul Wirth and wife Linda Lapos of Allentown and George Wirth and wife Susan of Whitehall, Godmother, Donna Wirth of Northampton, In-laws, Barry L. and Janet M. Kleibscheidel of Blandon, Janet's mother Theresa of Phillipsburg NJ, brothers-in-law Michael J. Kleibscheidel of  Reading and Joshua M. Kleibscheidel of Blandon , and 5 cousins.

Services: 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 10 at New Bethel Church, 135 New Bethel Church Rd., Kempton, with the Rev. David Blitch officiating.  Visitation will be from 8:00 to 11:00 A.M. in the Church.  Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com .
