Elizabeth Jill Lambert, of Fogelsville, born in Melton-Mowbray, Leicestershire, England, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at home.

Elizabeth, known as Jill or Liza by many of her friends. was an independent spirit and pioneer.  She traveled the world in her 20s, worked in Hong Kong and eventually ended up in New York where she met the loving Post family who introduced her to Allentown, PA, the place she would call home for the next 50 years.

She had her Masters in IT Systems Analytics from Muhlenberg College and worked as a Systems Analyst for over 30 years at Mack Trucks.  She was a pioneer as a woman programmer at Mack Trucks and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Allentown.

Elizabeth was a devoted grandmother who helped raise her grandchildren.  They were very close and always loved her surprise box, crazy hats, excellent cooking and thoughtful gifts.  Most importantly she spent quality time with them allowing each one to get to know her so well.  She always loved England and instilled this love to her daughter and grandchildren.  Mom and Nana, we will miss you greatly!

Survivors: Daughter, Juliet Johansson and 2 grandchildren, Coral and Marlin, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, 1 brother, William Joseph Lambert. and 1 sister, Barbara Sonia Lambert.
