Faye E. Snyder, 84, of Shillington, PA passed away peacefully with her family by her side July 30th.  Born in Lynn Township, she was the daughter of the late Jonas A.L. and Althea (Moyer) Weaver, graduate of Slatington High School. She was married to the late David M. Snyder (Bowmanstown). She was employed as an office clerk at CNA in Reading. deli-worker at Ciotti Markets in Reading, a cook's assistant for the Canteen Corporation at Western Electric and a cook's assistant for the Caum Nursing Home in Reading.

She volunteered as a den mother for Cub Scout Pack 339, advisor for Boy Scout Troop 324 & 321, and the 11 ^th & Pike playground association. She was active with the Reading Moravian Church and served on committees and assisted with youth group events. She was an avid cook and baker and would make treats for those in need and the neighborhood children.  She enjoyed card club with her girlfriends. She enjoyed working and spending time at her grandparents' farm in New Tripoli. She was a Reading High School Marching Band Aide and promoted her sons' musical abilities. She spent countless times at baton and dance classes for her daughter. Later she supported her daughter through nursing school. She loved her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, and they were a special joy to her.  Faye made so many friends in her lifetime and had a difficult time keeping in touch with everyone.  She did remember them in prayer.

Faye had a great sense of humor and could always find a positive side out of a hard time. She may have been poor, but she was rich in faith. She gave freely and unselfishly. She served her lifetime as a faithful person.

Survivors: children, Bryan D. (Judithanne, wife) of Robesonia, pre -deceased Brad W. of Reading, (Kathy, fiancé), Bruce D. (Tracy, wife) of Wernersville, Beth A. Hufford (Ronald, husband) of Shillington, grandchildren:  Lauren, Emily, Matthew, Timothy and Katie; great grandchildren: Karoelyce, Logan, Meiya, Ella, Lillian, and Lennon; brother: Ray A. Weaver (Pam) of Shillington, sister: Mabel Cleveland (Robert) of Punta Gorda, FL.
