Forrest E. Heiser, 85 years, of Whitehall, passed away April 29, 2014 at Fellowship Terrace in Whitehall.  He was the widow of Kathryn L. (Haas) Heiser for 63 years until her passing in August of 2013.  Born in Kutztown, he was the son of the late Charles and Edna (Herber) Heiser.

He was a self employed painter around the Lehigh Valley for 10 years and also worked for Armstrong World Wide Industries in Kuhnsville for 7 years.  Prior to that Forrest worked for the former Lehigh Portland Cement Co. in Fogelsville for 17 years as a shipping clerk. He was a member of the Jr. Order of Mechanics in New Tripoli, the Grundsow Lodge #15, the Weisenberg/Lowhill Historical Society, and was the past treasurer of the Weisenberg One Room School House.  Forrest was a member of Fellowship Community Bible Fellowship Church in Whitehall and an associate member of Morgenland Church in Orefield.

Survivors: son, Roger D. and wife Deborah of Manheim, PA, daughter, Brenda E., wife of Richard Geiger of Hummelstown, sister, LaRue Rex of New Tripoli, grandchildren, Elizabeth, wife of Eric Velkly, Matthew Heiser and wife Joanna, Christina, wife of Christopher Saikus, and Timothy Geiger and wife Jessica, great grandchildren, Conner and Tyler Velkly, and Joshua Heiser.

Services: 11 A.M., Monday, May 5, at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Phil E. Yerrington officiating.  Visitation will be from 10 to 11 A.M.  Interment, Morgenland Union Cemetery.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com
