Obituary

Forrest C. Laudenslager, 82, of New Tripoli, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp.  He was the husband of Nancy M. (Weida) Laudenslager for 62 years last month.  He was the son of the late Luther R. and Annie Mae (Balliet) Laudenslager.

He was a farmer in Weisenberg Township from 1960-1983 and was an auctioneer for 43 years with various companies. Forrest and his wife Nancy were members of Jerusalem Red Church in Kempton.  He was a life member of many fire companies in the area, including the New Tripoli Fire Co where he volunteered for 58 years and a member of the Slatington Lodge #440 F. & A.M.  Forrest was also a member of the Lehigh County Historical Society, a life member of the Lynn and Heidelberg Twp Historical Society and the Weisenberg Lowhill Twp Historical Society.  He was a life member of the Kutztown PA German Heritage Center and the former State Vice President of Future Farmers of America.

Survivors: Wife, Nancy, daughters, Donna Wolfe (Michael) of New Tripoli and Ann Redline (Donald) of Germansville, sister, Anna Mae George of Schnecksville, granddaughter Stephanie Wolfe and step granddaughter, Tara Deuber, step great grandchildren Jared and Lillian, 1 niece and 1 nephew.  He was predeceased by a brother, Robert.

Services: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 8 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville.  Visitations will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 7 and Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment, St. Peter's Cemetery in Lynnville.
