Frederick D. "Skip" Ritter, 91 years, of Allentown, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Parkland Manor Senior Living Care.  He and his wife, Elaine W. (Kressley) Ritter would've been married for 69 years next month.  Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Paul and Hattie (Wagner) Ritter.

His family owned Ritter's Market in Allentown, where he was a meat cutter for 19 years and he worked at Kressley's Cree-mee Freez. Fred also worked as a technician at Mack Trucks for 19 years retiring in 1988.  He was Boy Scout Troup Leader for many years.  Fred was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church in New Tripoli where he served on Church Council for many years. He honorably served his country in the United States Army.

Survivors: Wife, Elaine, sons, Michael F. Ritter (Patricia) of Clarksville TN, Terry D. Ritter (Kim) of Bethlehem, and Randy S. Ritter (Carol) of Morgantown, PA; brother, Martin Ritter (Rosanne) of Greenawald's, grandchildren, Paul, Sam, Danica, Darrien, Ian and Jaylynn; 4 great grandchildren, and 2 nieces and 1 nephew. He was predeceased by a brother, Carl Ritter.

Services: A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 29, at Weisenberg Lutheran Church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Rd, New Tripoli with a visitation from 9:30-11:00 AM.
