George D. Fister, Jr., 72 years of Slatington, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the Inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital. Born in Lehigh County, he was the son of the late George, Sr. and Florence Fister.

He repaired small engines for the former Grim Sales & Service in New Tripoli and the former Kern Brothers. George was also a dairy farmer for many years. He was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church in New Tripoli.

Survivors: sons, Mark Fister of Walnutport and Brian Fister of Slatington; sister, Janet Radke, 4 grandchildren, and friend, Charles Kistler.

Services: A Funeral service will take place at 11 AM on Monday, January 6 at Weisenberg Lutheran Church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Rd, New Tripoli. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM.
