Gerald J. Masavage, 89 years, of Macungie, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Reading Hospital.  He was the widower of Adele A. (Pissott) Masavage.  Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was son of the late William and Anna (Klokis) Masavage.

He was a draftsman for the former Bell Labs, and later with AT&T and he honorably served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Gerald was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church in Orefield.  He enjoyed playing golf and was an animal lover, especially his dogs. Gerald cherished spending time with his family.

Survivors: daughters, Debra Tyndall (Dan) of St. Louis, MO and Kathleen Keiser (Tim) of Mertztown; son, Paul Masavage (Tina) of Morgantown, PA; grandchildren, Megan, Brian, Bruce, Katie, Korey, Madison, Nicholas, and Jack; great grandchildren, Brynlee, Landon, and Liam, sister, Elaine Reynolds, nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his son, Gerald Masavage, Jr., brother, Joseph Masavage, and sister, Maryann Payne.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 23 at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1879 Applewood Dr., Orefield.  Visitation will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the Church.  Interment, Resurrection Cemetery in Allentown.  Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com.
