Gerald J. Masavage, Jr., 59 years of Palmerton, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice Unit in Allentown.  Born in Manville, NJ, he was a son of Gerald Masavage, Sr. of Macungie and the late Adele (Pissott) Masavage.

He grew up in Macungie and worked most recently for Orasure Technologies as a Manufacturing Technician for 15 years.  Prior to that Gerald worked for AT&T/Lucent Technologies/Agere as a Process Analyst for over 18 years.

Gerald loved animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed being out in nature hiking or bird watching.  He also liked watching NASCAR and football, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.

Survivors :  daughter, Megan M. Pelekanakis (Julian K.) of Fountain Hill, siblings, Debra Tyndall (Dan) of St. Louis, Kathleen Keiser (Tim) of Mertztown, and Paul Masavage (Tina) of Morgantown; loving companion, Sherri Mosser, ex-wife, Debra Masavage.

Memorial Service : 11:00 AM, Friday, December 3 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville.  Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Private Interment.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com.
