Rev. Glenn F. Heintzelman, 73, of Wescosville, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the loving husband of Bonnie M. (Hughes) Heintzelman, with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage. Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Frank and Miriam (Ruth) Heintzelman.
A graduate of Moravian College, Glenn went on to earn a Master's degree from Lehigh University as well as a Master's from Moravian Theological Seminary, all in Bethlehem. Before retiring, he served as an ordained Moravian minister at Unionville Moravian Church in Michigan, amongst several others.
Glenn was a retired Moravian minister & counselor who loved his family and friends. He was a man of Love & Faith, a voracious reader and a lifelong devoted Philly sports fan.
Surviving with Bonnie are their sons: Adam R. Heintzelman, at home and Aaron P. Heintzelman of Kansas City, MO; a granddaughter, Maci Leigh Heintzelman; and a sister, Jeanne Serfas (David) of VA.
Services will take place at 11:30 AM on Friday, May 12 at Calvary Moravian Church, 948 N. 21st St., Allentown. Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 AM. Interment Moravian Church Cemetery, Nazareth.
