Gloria E. Kern, 89 years, of Whitehall, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Whitehall Manor.  Born in New Tripoli, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Minnie (Kunkel) Kern.

She graduated from St. Luke's Nursing School and was a Registered Nurse for 41 years at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem. Gloria went on to volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital after retiring. She was a member and volunteer of the Bethlehem Music Festival Assoc. and a member of Order Of The Eastern Star, Slatington Chapter 458.  Gloria was a member of St. Stephen's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethlehem.

Survivors: 1 nephew and 5 nieces.  She was predeceased by siblings, Edgar W. Kern, Geraldine M. Wesoloski, and Carolyn J. Mantz.

Service 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 25 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville. Visitation, 10:30 to 11:00 AM.  Interment, Ebenezer Cemetery in New Tripoli.
