Gloria J. Obyle, 80 years, of New Tripoli, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She was the widow of Wayne R. Obyle. Born in Weisenberg Twp., she was the daughter of the late Paul O. and Lillian E. (Peiffer) Werley.

She was the Food Service Director for Northwestern Lehigh School District for 35 years, retiring in 1994. Gloria was a member the Fogelsville Fire Co. Ladies Auxillary, the Kempton Community Center, and the Fereinicht Deitsh Fulk, where she served as the secretary. She was a member of Ziegels United Church of Christ in Breinigsville.

Survivors: son, Bruce Obyle and wife Carol of New Tripoli, daughters, Gwendolyn, wife of John Pongracz of New Tripoli and Faith Nunez of Elkins Park, PA, grandchildren, Rachel Dise, Theresa Miller, Benjamin, Clinton and Donovan Ruth, Diego, Jose, and Pablo Nunez, 5 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by grandsons, Jason J.P. Obyle and Alan Ruth.

Services: 11 A.M. on Wednesday, August 26 at Ziegels Union Church., 9990 Ziegels Church Rd., Breinigsville with the Rev. Candi Cain-Borgman officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 25 from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville and Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. in the Church.
