Obituary

Henry J. Kohler, 91 years, formerly of Lynn Twp., passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at Lehigh Commons in Macungie. He was the husband of Erna A. (Hamm) Kohler for 66 years this past March. Born in Greenwich Twp. he was a son of the late John and Eva (Fetherolf) Kohler.

He was a dairy farmer in Lynn Twp. for most of his life and was also a substitute mail carrier in the Kutztown and Kempton areas. Henry was member of the Pennsylvania Farmers Assoc. and a member of Friedens Lutheran Church in Stony Run. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy during WWII.

Survivors: wife, sons; Michael H. and wife Debbie of Coopersburg and Jeffrey M. and wife Karin of Martinsville, VA, brother, Luther, grandchildren; Rachel, Emily, Abigail, Jacob, Joshua, and Daniel and his wife Tina, great grandchildren, Marshall and Wilson. He was predeceased by a son Steven P.

Services : 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 12, at Friedens Lutheran Church, 9727 Red Rd., Kempton with the Rev. Susan Horst officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M in the Church. Interment, Church cemetery. Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com.
