Henry E. Snyder, 82 years of Allentown, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at home. He was the husband of Dern (Snyder) Snyder for 62 years this past June. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Elwood and Elsie (Muth) Snyder.

He was a floor layer for Owen M. Bastian Inc. for 38 years and a member of the United Carpenters Union 600 for 37 years. Henry was a member of Valleyview Baptist Church of Northampton. He enjoyed classic car shows and drawing with his grandchildren.

Survivors: wife, Dern, son, Eric Snyder (Sharon) of Allentown and daughter, Lori Gava (David) of Stockertown, grandchildren, Sadie and Levi Snyder and Matthew and Luke Gava. He was predeceased by siblings, Frederick Snyder and Eleanor Lakatosh.

A Memorial Service will take place at 11 AM on Monday, September 22 at Valleyview Baptist Church, 2870 Pheasant Dr, Northampton. A visitation will take place from 10 to 11 AM in the Church. Private interment at Weisenberg Lutheran Church Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.
