Herbert S. "Herbie" Ruth, Jr., 82, of Wescosville, passed away May 10th, 2016. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Herbert, Sr. and Katherine (Mest) Ruth.

He worked for Royal Furniture in Emmaus for many years doing furniture repair. Herb last worked for Public Storage before retiring in 2004. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. His greatest joy was his Country music, singing with various musicians in the Lehigh Valley and also his own Crystal Countryside. Herb loved singing on stage, playing guitar and performing for the audience. He was known on the Health and Happiness Show CWTAP on Sunday afternoons talking or singing a tune live on the show.
