Hilda E. Greenawald, 91 years, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Phoebe Home. She was the widow of William J. "Doxie" Greenawald. Born in Weisenberg Twp., she was a daughter of the late Claude and Edna (Werley) Bittner.

She was employed as a production worker for Alpo from 1959 to 1982. Prior to that, she worked at the former Westrick Potato Grading Station. Hilda was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ in New Tripoli.

Survivors: Daughter, Sandra wife of Roy Follweiler of Kempton; Son, Richard Greenawald and his wife Sandra of Orefield; Sister, Irene Huber of Allentown; 4 Grandchildren; 10 Great-grandchildren; 2 Great-great-grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Norman, Arlan and Woodrow Bittner and sister, Hattie Lewis.

Services: 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 18, at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 6776 Madison St., New Tripoli. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Interment will take place in Ebenezer Cemetery, New Tripoli.
