Hugh P. O'Donnell, 75 years, of New Tripoli, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at home.  He was the husband of Judith A. (Rutz) O'Donnell for 47 years this past June.  Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the late Hugh J. and Agnes (Ginner) O'Donnell.  He was a postal worker at the Lehigh Valley Distribution Center for 20 years. Hugh honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He served as part of the United States Special Forces, also known as the Green Berets.  Hugh was a lifetime member of the Special Operations Assoc., the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, VFW Post 2124, and the Air Force Assoc.

Survivors: wife, Judy, daughters, Jennifer Shuhay and husband Joseph of New Tripoli, Heather O'Donnell of New Tripoli, and Mary Sell and husband Ted of Bethlehem; brother, James O'Donnell and wife Juanita of Wilkes Barre, sister, Noreen Weikel of Alburtis, sister-in-law, Dolores O'Donnell of Coopersburg, grandchildren, Ethan, Patrick, Grace, Lillian, Sophia, Allison, and Matthew, nieces and nephews.   He was predeceased by a brother Danny O'Donnell.

Services: Memorial Service, 7:00 PM, Wednesday, November 1, at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Interment will be on Thursday, November 2 at 9:30 AM in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com.
