James L. Farley, 79 years, of Fogelsville, passed away Friday, August 21, 2020 at home.  He was the husband of Nancy L. (Fyfe) Farley for 59 years last December.  Born in Lake Placid, NY he was a son of the late Lawrence J. and Thelma (Jacquis) Farley.

He worked at the former Sacred Heart Hospital and later Lehigh Valley Hospital for many years as an orderly, as well as in the housekeeping and security departments.  James was a life member of the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary and was the sexton at St. John's United Church of Christ for many years.  He also did volunteer research for the Moravian Historical Society.

Survivors: Wife, Nancy, sons, James J. Farley (Doris) of Bath, Ricky A. Farley (Wanda) of Topton, brother, Jerry Farley and sister Joan Mesec (Gary) both of Lake Placid, grandchildren, James (Karlee), Matthew (Alexis), Ricky (Felicia), and Melissa (Samuel), nieces and nephews.
