Janice L. Mikylychak, 93 years, of Allentown, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at home.  She was the widow of Richard B. Mikylychak.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Miriam (Reimert) Wetherhold.

She graduated from Allentown Hospital School of Nursing in 1951.  Janice was a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room for 15 years before becoming the Operating Room Supervisor in 1982 at Allentown General Hospital. Janice enjoyed antiquing.

Survivors: daughters, Lynne Beitler (Dan) of Alburtis and Lori Snyder (Tom) of Kingswood, TX, grandchildren, Andrew Beitler (Tiffany) of Minnetrista, MN, Ian Beitler (Becca) of Emmaus, and Lydia Truty (Zach) of Addison, TX; 5 great grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter due in February. sisters-in-law, Carol Martin (Michael) of Allentown and Grace Keller (Gilbert) of Macungie; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Ned, and in-laws, Eleanor and Richard Reimert, Vera and Darwin "Buddy" Marshall, and Dorothy "Zelda" and David Diehl.

A Memorial Service will take place at 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St, Fogelsville. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
