Obituary

John B. Glenfield, 89 years, of Allentown, formerly of New Jersey, passed away, Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp.  He was the husband of Audrey D. (Duysters) Glenfield and the widower of Janice (Bicker) Glenfield.  Born in Bayonne, NJ, he was a son of the late John B., Sr. and Anne (Makely) Glenfield.

He graduated from Rutgers University in 1955 and went on to spend most of his career managing computer systems and services in New Brunswick, NJ.  John worked for Triangle Industries, Inc. for 37 years, retiring in June of 1988. He was a member of the United Reformed Church of Somerville since 1956, where he served on the Consistory numerous times. John honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1946 to 1949.

Survivors: wife, Audrey, daughters, Ruth G. Kinsey and husband Russell of Mansfield, OH and Elizabeth S. Strohl and husband Tom of Allentown, step daughter, Louise Tharp, step-son, William Bowman and wife Lynn, grandchildren, Jonathan D. Strohl and wife Ashton, David A. Strohl and wife Lauren, and Jennifer E. Klotz and husband Reid, step grandchildren, Kevin, Jeffrey, and Kaitlyn Bowman, and Krista Monetti and husband Jethro, Meghann Bozic and husband Brian, Briana Mitchell and husband Anthony, and Brett Tharp, great granddaughter, Grace, step great grandchildren, Calli, Lillian, John, Pia, and Joseph.  He was predeceased by a son, Roger and a brother, brother, James, sister, Doris, and step brother, Albert Garrison.

Services: 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 1 at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville with the Rev. Eric Yeakel officiating.  Visitation will take place from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.  Private interment.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com .
